Welcome to our frequently asked questions section.

Where are you located?

 

We operate our setting from the John Muir Campus at Dunbar Primary School.  We have access to a large indoor hall and an additional sports hall within the school. 

 

Our Outdoor play space is safe and secure - We have access to all of the gated school playground areas and a lovely private garden area that is adjacent to the club. 

Are you registered?

 

Yes we are registered with the Care Inspectorate. Our registration number is CS2016345403 

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

 

Yes, we accept Tax-free childcare, childcare vouchers and universal credit allowance. 

What type of activities do you offer? 

We have lots of daily activities on offer for the children. Our staff team carefully plan weekly crafts and activities for the children. We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of activities to keep the children engaged and busy.

 

Examples include, Arts & Crafts, Daily Outdoor Play, Loose Parts Play, Cooking, Games, Dancing, Bingo, 

Talent shows, Construction, Team Working Activities, Quiz's, Fundraising projects, and more!

Do you offer settling sessions?

 

Yes we do. We want to ensure that our setting is the best fit for your child. After registration we will invite your child along for a visit. They can stay and play and get the chance to meet everyone before they join the club. 

Do you provide snack? 

Yes we provide a snack at the after school club. On arrival to the club, the children have the chance to sit down and have snack with us.

 

Typically this will include fruit, veggies, oatcakes, cereal or something similar.  The children re-group at 5pm to have a glass of milk/water and fruit or a biscuit.

 

We recognise that the session can be longer for some children so we want to make sure nobody goes hungry! 

What happens at breakfast club? 

We are open from 7.30am for breakfast club. Children can have their breakfast with us. We have a good selection of cereals, toast and fruit. There are lots of play activities on offer. Breakfast club focuses on a nice calm start to the day for your child and the opportunity to make new friends.
